That this Honourable Senate resolves to suspend Standing Order Number 86(5) in respect of the Legislation Committee Reports on;
- Counter Domestic Violence Bill, 2021
- Competition Bill, 2021
- Referendum Bill, 2021
- Administration of Estates Proclamation (Amendment) Bill, 2022
Standing Order number 86(5) reads as thus “A Committee report may not be debated in the Senate unless it has been circulated to all Senators at least two days prior to the intended debate in the Senate.”
