SENATE HOLDS A WORKSHOP WITH THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING GOOD RELATIONS WITH THE MEDIA
In collaboration with European Union, Senate held a workshop for committee chairpersons, secretariat and APPN (The African Parliamentary Press Network, Lesotho Chapter) on strengthening partnership and enhancing Senate-media relations on the 24rd March 2025 at Lancers Inn Maseru.
On his opening remarks, Vice President of the Senate Honorable Tsukutlane Au expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the workshop especially European Union which financed the workshop. He indicated that the Senate in its strategic plan 2024/2029 has made a commitment to ensure that Parliament news/proceedings reach the public successfully and timeously, hence why the Senate and APPN are going to sign a Memorandum of Understanding as a guide for the two parties.
