85.     CHRONIC SHORTAGE OF DRINKING WATER AT TS’OANA MAKHULO

To ask the Minister for Natural Resources if he is aware that ground work and feasibility study had been done during 2017/18 financial year to connect Sefikeng villages with clean drinking water from the main Metolong pipeline to Teya-Teyaneng and the costing was done, awaiting availability of funds since 2018. But to date, there is still chronic water shortages at the villages of Ha Tlekelele, ha Molibetsane, Ha Telukhunoana, Ha ‘Moso and Sefikeng

If he is aware, how soon the Metolong pipelines shall be extended to assist these communities

86.     PLIGHT OF EX-TSEPONG CONSORTIUM EMPLOYEES

To ask the Minister for Health if he is aware of unpaid benefits including severance pay of ex-Ts’epong Consortium local  employees yet all the expatriate employees have been paid in full even those that have just joined the service in the years have received their 2 years gratuities on the 28th August 2025

If he is aware, can he share with the House the motive behind prioritisation of expatriate workers over locals

87.     AUTONOMY OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH

To Ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition if he is aware of the need for Agricultural Research Department autonomy so as to implement the strategies and policy on making Agricultural Research independent and serve famers of this country with relevant agricultural research, driven by technology and innovation in the mist of climate change

If so, how soon shall the Agricultural Research Department be autonomous and its mandate reviewed to respond to ever changing agricultural production challenge
