96. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATE AND INHERITANCE ACT, 2024

To ask the Honourable Minister of Justice and Law whether he is aware that the implementation of the Administration of the Estate and Inheritance Act, 2024 has given rise to escalating family conflicts and disputes over inheritance and estate administration across the country
If so, can Minister clarify the following:
- What measures is the Ministry putting in place to address these conflicts, particularly in cases where the law appears to be unclear or where vulnerable family members such as widows and orphans, are mostly affected
- What steps is the Ministry taking to ensure that public awareness and education on the provisions of the Act are strengthened, so that families better understand their rights and obligations under the law,
- Will the Ministry consider reviewing or amending certain provisions of the Act to reduce ambiguities that contribute to family disputes, and when can this process be expected.
97. NEED FOR INTERVENTION REGARDING UNCOMMUNICATED TUITION ADJUSTMENTS AT LEROTHOLI POLYTECHNIC

To ask the Honourable Minister of Education and Training whether he is aware that some students from Lerotholi Polytechnic School, who were sponsored by the National Manpower Development Secretariat (NMDS) between 2023 and 2024 were unable to graduate due to tuition fee increase by the institution that was not communicated in time to the sponsor, thereby resulting in unpaid balances
If so, can the Minister explain what measures are being taken to address this situation so that the affected students can graduate without further delay, and what mechanisms has the Ministry put in place to ensure that in future, tuition fee adjustments by institutions are communicated to the NMDS and other relevant stakeholders in time, so that students are not disadvantaged.
98. UPGRADING OF GRAVEL ROAD TO TARRED ROAD BETWEEN BELA-BELA AND MAPOTENG

To ask Minister for Public Works and Transport whether he is aware that the bridge from Ha Tuke to Bela-Bela was demolished with the intention of repairing it, but was left unattended to until now.
If the Minister is aware, can he at least turn the gravel road into tarred road for ease of access to services provided at Mapoteng instead of long unnecessary routes that are being used currently.
99. GAZZETMENT OF GOVERNMENT ASSET SEARCH AND RECOVERY TASK TEAM (GASRTT)

To ask the Minister of Justice and Law, whether he is aware that the Government Assets Search and Recovery Task Team (GASRTT) is currently operating without a clear legal framework anchoring its establishment and mandate.
If so, what steps are being taken to legalise and formalisethe task team to ensure that its operations align with the Constitution, existing laws and principles of accountability and transparency;
Further, can the Minister clarify how recovered assets are being managed and accounted for in the absence of a specific legislative framework.
100. LAUNCH OF NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL

To ask the Minister for Gender, Youth and Social Development, if he is aware of increasing role played by youth in shaping national development
If so, how soon shall he launch National Youth Council as an avenue for youth to be able to voice their priorities and aspirations in national development.
